At Ralston Community Theatre we are working to reopen as safely as possible. With our 2021 summer production of The Addams Family, we are taking measures to ensure our Patrons, Artists and Staff’s safety, following CDC and State guidelines. However, we reserve the right to cancel any performance if the Douglas County COVID numbers exceed 10%.
Safety Procedures
Upon Arrival
Masks are not required to be worn at this time. However, we are complying with all state and county health advisories and strongly encourage patrons to wear masks if they feel comfortable, especially when seated inside the theater.
Cleaning Procedures
Hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout the buildings.
The theatre, lobby, and bathrooms will be thoroughly cleaned before and after each performance for your safety. Doorknobs, railings, countertops, and other common touchpoints are sanitized with increased frequency.
Audience Size
Indoor seating is full capacity. However, unless there is a sell-out performance, patrons are encouraged to leave empty seats between groups allowing a distance of 6’ apart.
Note: The first two rows of seats will be unavailable for seating, to allow distancing between our orchestra/cast and the audience.
Social Distancing
Patrons are asked to stay six feet from other patrons whenever possible. It may be necessary to form a line outside of the building to maintain this distance.
The theatre box office will be opened 60 minutes prior to the start of the show. Please head straight to your seat after checking into the box office.
Concessions
Pre-packaged concession items will be available for purchase at intermission.
In areas where guests and staff come into close contact such as the box office and bar, staff will be fully masked for your safety.
Additional Time for Seating
We realize these precautions may mean that it will take additional time to be seated. We ask all guests to arrive early, we will be opening the auditorium doors 30 minutes before showtime.
We will continue to monitor the evolving environment, as guidelines are updated and vaccines become more available. As things change procedures may be updated accordingly. Please refer to this page for the most up-to-date information.
